Lisa was talked into doing the race by a friend who has been affected by cancer. She’s regretted it ever since, and her preparations are about as disorganised as they come. But a lot of it is just for show, since she’s definitely outside of her comfort zone. She’s secretly really proud to be getting involved with a good cause and a big sporting event for the first time ever. Her training ritual mainly involves walking the dog, or a stroll to the pub.
Lisa does everything a week after she should have done – and has only just bought some real trainers to replace her flip-flops! She loves going away in her camper van to the coast, exploring new parts of the Great British outdoors with her boyfriend, the dog and plenty of Aqua Pura.
