This year we teamed up with Cumbria based T2 Events to help keep swimmers, paddlers and spectators hydrated at the Windermere One Way Swim event.

The event took place on 13^th August, starting at Fell Foot National Trust where swimmers set off on the 11 mile swim – along with their paddler – across Windermere.

The Aqua Pura team were at the finish line at Brathay Hall waiting to greet the competitors with a bottle of our natural mineral water. As a Cumbria based business, we were proud to be supporting another local organisation, while also making sure people were staying hydrated on one of the hottest days of the year.

The day couldn’t have gone better, we were blessed with sunshine and temperatures upwards of 30 degrees. We took approximately 300 bottles of Aqua Pura’s 500ml still water to the event and not a single one came home with us!

Except for the empties of course, which we made sure were collected and recycled properly at the end of the day.
